This Back To The Future t-shirt features an image of Doc Brown's time traveling DeLorean with its wheels folded in and ready for takeoff. The shirt includes 88 MPH in a checkerboard design. This is the speed needed for the DeLorean to travel through time.

The DeLorean time machine was Dr. Emmett Brown's most successful invention, a plutonium-powered time machine comprised of a DeLorean DMC-12 sports car. When Marty McFly drove the car over 88 miles per hour, he was sent back in time to the year 1955. Marty had to find a younger version of Doc to help Marty get back to 1985 in one of the greatest adventures in cinematic history. At the end of the movie, Doc told Marty he had to come with Doc to the future. The DeLorean's wheels folded in, and Doc said, "Where we're going, we don't need roads".
