Buddy was raised by elves at the North Pole, but when he discovered that he was human, Buddy went to New York to find his real father. Buddy passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, and then he walked through the Lincoln Tunnel. When Buddy first arrived in New York, he found a raccoon, and asked it if it needed a hug. The raccoon viciously attacked Buddy. That luckily did not stop Buddy on his quest to meet his father.
