In the 1985 comedy Fletch, the reporter Irwin Fletcher was investigating the health of Alan Stanwyk, which led Fletch to a country club. There, Fletch saw Ted Underhill berating a waiter. Fletch then took it upon himself to tell a waiter that he was with the Underhills, then ordered an expensive lunch (a Bloody Mary and a steak sandwich and... a steak sandwich) and put it on the Underhills bill.
