This Cobra Kai t-shirt features a trading card that shows William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, the man who was the top student at the Cobra Kai dojo in 1984, then re-opened the dojo more than 30 years later. The trading card includes the Cobra Kai logo and The Way of the Fist: Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy. The card is printed to show Johnny as the 1984 All Valley Karate Champion because Daniel LaRusso used an illegal kick to win the tournament.

In the 1984 classic Karate Kid, Johnny Lawrence proved to be one of the greatest bullies in cinematic history. Johnny, the top student at the Cobra Kai dojo, bullied Daniel LaRusso until Daniel studied Karate and defeated Johnny at the All-Valley Karate Tournament. In the first season of Cobra Kai, Johnny reignited his feud with Daniel, and decided to re-open Cobra Kai, where his neighbor Miguel became his first student.
