The Mystics originated during Thra's second Great Conjunction when the urSkes attempted to purify themselves through the heat of the three suns shining on the Crystal. Instead of being cleansed, the urSkek were split into two beings, the Skeksis and the Mystics. The Mystics embodied the peaceful side of the urSkek's nature.
