In First Blood, John Rambo was arrested for vagrancy. Sheriff Will Teasle patted Rambo down and found a survival knife. Rambo escaped the police station with his survival knife, which proved to be his favorite weapon, as he preferred it to firearms. Rambo used his survival knife to make traps, hunt a wild boar, and cut fishing wire to sew up his wounds.
